Everyone that knows me knows that I love birds, any birds, but the ones I enjoy drawing the most are penguins. I found a neat simple style to draw them one day. Finding this style kept me inspired to draw them in different situations.
The illustrations started out with me wanting to be less perfectionistic with art. I wanted to draw what I enjoyed drawing without all the “rules” of art. Stepping away from what I thought art should be, gave me the freedom I needed. It gave me permission to play around with ideas I had floating in my head.
