I heard that boats make for a nice crunchy snack! Don't worry though, the owner of the boat escaped long before it sunk, and ended up buying a bigger boat from her insurance money, a win-win, really.
Every now and then I get inspired to try something new. For the past few years I’ve had a big interest in learning how to create 3D illustrations. It definitely doesn’t come as natural to me as putting my (apple) pen to (procreate) paper, but it is a great way to explore an idea from all sides ~ literally. This piece came from an illustration I made a year prior, I never really liked the colors of the original illustration, but I did like the composition and the idea. I think the soft colors in this 3D adaptation are working really well to give it a toy-ish, or even candy-like soft appearance.
